Temporary overnight closures on Worthy Road will start from Monday 17 February for approximately two weeks. The permitted working hours will be between 7:30pm to 5:30am (Monday to Friday) with the road re-opening the following morning. There will be no works taking place at the weekends. Emergency vehicle access to properties and pedestrian access will be maintained at all times during the closures.

The works are being undertaken at night to minimise disruption to daytime traffic, as well as ensuring the safety of road users and the workforce.

Due to the nature of the planned works, there will be noisy activity at times, and we will attempt to complete noisier activities in the earlier part of the night where possible.

Please note that the works are weather and programme dependent and may need to be re-arranged at short notice. Advanced warning signs will be on-site prior to the commencement of the night works, and updates will be available on the scheme webpage. Exact details on traffic management, road closures and diversion routes will be available on the County Council scheme web page on Monday 3 February; https://www.hants.gov.uk/transport/transportschemes/worthy-road-improvements.
